![]() ![]() Okay, how does she play Onion Knight? Well, at this level you have to be careful in any CA to not end up someone's Dev Strike. With that in mind, you REALLY don't want to be the first one to be spotted. She is pretty dang sneaky, and you can get her Concealment down to 9.6 KM, so you do have a window to stealth torp.but not a big one.It does help when things get hot, and its time to go dark and slink away.because of her lack of speed, you gotta pass up on some shot that I would take while in something like my Eugen, and break off before you really want to sometimes. Rudder shift is fine, and you can crank up the torpedo beats if needed. She does have the RN "fast off the line" perk, but her top end is only 30 your lucky to get to 27 28 knots.so pretty slow. Living long enough to use them, can be a bit of a bother however. They hit plenty hard, and have 10km range. You also have to show a lot of broadside to use all 10 guns.and we all know what happens to bad little cruisers that do that at this Tier don't we?įour a side, with pretty good angles, and you can single fire them, like a lot of RN stuff. You DO have 10 guns, but they are AP only.now, its very good AP with improved penetration angles, and short fuses.but I missed HE on angled stuff. ![]() As usual, the art department crushed it, and she looks stunning. She kind of looks like a cross between a RN and IJN CA that had a baby. Okay, so what do we have? Well, she is an upgunned Surry, with 10 208mm guns in 6 turrets. I put Jack Dunkkirk on her, and off we went. I got super lucky to get her, she was in my first box, so she cost me the kingly sum of 3 million silver. ![]() But lots of us got her this morning, so I thought I'd give my "joe player" review: While I think I got a feel for this ship, I can't say that this is the final word. Okay, first things first, I'm not a supertester or anything, and I've had a total of 4 games in her so far. ![]()
